It was a huge triumph for Komplitt at this year's International Comparative Literature Association (ICLA) congress in Macau 29/7-2/8/2019. Our committee member Shuangyi Li's book Proust, China and Intertextual Engagement: Translation and Transcultural Dialogue (Palgrave Macmillan: 2017) (Palgrave Macmillan: 2017) was awarded the Anna Balakian Prize 2019 for the best first monograph in the field of Comparative Literature published in the last 3 years by a scholar under the age of forty. It is the first time that this prize went to a scholar based in Sweden!

Shuangyi would like to take this opportunity to thank the Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL) at Lund University for the institution's generous support during the final stages of the book.

You could find a 10-minute interview with Shuangyi Li on his book here.
